Accredited Reiki Practitioner Training With Penny Alterskye in Milton Keynes

This is the first course of its kind in Milton Keynes and takes place in our holistic centre and crystal shop.  It  has been accredited against the current recommended training standards for Professional Reiki Training as specified by the CNHC (Complementary Natural Healthcare Council).  All assessments and verifications for this course have been conducted by qualified assessors and verifiers of the UK Reiki Council.

All Training and course content is in line with the Reiki National Occupational Standards (NOS) 2009 and the CNHC Core Curriculum for Reiki 2023

This Course is completed over a minimum of 9 months, from your Reiki Level 1 training. You can apply for the diploma after you have completed your Reiki Level 2 training.

Total study will take 240 hours, of which a minimum of 65 hours will be "in person."

To be awarded the Diploma, you will need to have completed:

75 recorded, full treatment case studies in person, will need to be completed as well as 100 self treatments. Some will be completed in the classes.

5 Treatments will be supervised with 1 of those treatments being supervised by another Reiki Master/Teacher.

Included in the Diploma fee are 4 additional Reiki training and practical days that need to be attended, anatomy and physiology course content, distant Reiki sessions/shares and a final written and practical assessment.  Dates are included below for the 4 days training (3 Reiki practitioner days and 1 Reiki business day) courses run from 9am until 6pm. They include practical exercises and theory content.

The following course fees are not included in the Practitioner Reiki Diploma package but must be completed as part of the course requirements before the Diploma will be issued. 

1) Reiki Level 1 -Must have been taught in person and have received in-person, face-to-face attunements to the Usui Method of Reiki. If your course was only a 1 day class, additional course content will need to be added to make up the full hours required for Reiki level 1 training as per the NOS (National Occupational Standards). This will be discussed upfront so that the total number of required hours are achieved for the award and additional in-person classes are added for the individual. A total of 15 hours in-person training will need to be completed for Reiki Level 1.

2) Reiki Level 2 -Must have been taught in person and have received in-person, face-to-face attunements to the Usui Method of Reiki. If your course was only a 1 day class, additional course content will need to be added to make up the full hours required for Reiki level 2 training as per the NOS. This will be discussed upfront so that the total number of required hours are achieved for the award. A total of 15 hours in-person training will need to be completed for Reiki Level 2. You will need to be Reiki Level 2 attuned before attending the 2nd Diploma day. 

You will be certified as a Professional Reiki Practitioner after all required content has been completed and the required standard has been achieved.  The achievement will enable you to apply directly to the Reiki Federation and CNHC without needing to complete any further assessments.

If you have not previously completed your Reiki Level 1 and 2 training with Penny, you will need to discuss your previous training first with Penny, to establish whether it can be used or whether you need to re-do either training course, or part of either training course, before registering for the diploma.
