Bloodstone is a variety of deep-green chalcedony flecked with spots and streaks of red jasper. It is also known by its historical name, heliotrope. This particular variety — Seftonite — comes from South Africa and is characterised by its vibrant red flecks set against a rich green and grey base.

A distinctive and collectible stone, popular with both crystal enthusiasts and collectors. In crystal and energy work, bloodstone is traditionally associated with courage, grounding, and inner strength.

Small is under 1.8cm. Medium is approximately 1.8–2.8cm at its longest point. Large is approximately 3–4cm. Each piece varies.
