The Herkimer Diamonds are thus named as they were first discovered in Herkimer in the USA.  These diamonds have a double termination which makes them a unique form of quartz.

 

Herkimers are known as  attunement stones  as they are used for relationships and to bring about harmony when meeting new people.  They are powerful  stones, allowing clarity of thought. This is a useful stone for clairvoyants as they can implant thoughts of love inside each stone and then they wait to enjoy the good karma that comes from giving. Some Herkimers may even contain water droplets. This is a wonderful gift of friendship.
